EYOC 2011 is over. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU!

European Youth Orienteering Championships 2011 took place in Jindřichův Hradec from 24th to 26th June 2011. 336 competitors were competing in sprint distance, long distance and relay event. We deeply believe that the Championships was beneficial for you not only for the result you achieved but also for sport enjoyment and new friendship with other people from all over the Europe which will last for the rest of your lives.

336 competitors from 30 European countries were competing at EYOC 2011 and all of them showed their best.

On Friday, June 24th, the Championships started with the sprint event in Třeboň. You can take a look at results and maps. On Saturday, June 25th, the long distance event was in program. Here are results and maps. The final event of EYOC 2011 was the relay event on Sunday. Results and maps.

Let us say THANK YOU to all the organizers! We wouldn’t be able to organize such a big international sport event without your help. You were doing your best during all the Championships and our respect and thanks belong just to you, more than 100 people who were organizing EYOC 2011. THANK YOU!

Next year the European Youth Orienteering Championships is going to be held in Bugeat in France. We wish GOOD LUCK to organizers of the Championships!
